We are your local parish, present in your everyday life as well as in life’s significant and meaningful moments, in both joy and sorrow.
Our core values are faith, hope, and love. We want to meet each person as the unique individual they are. Across Rovaniemi, we offer a wide range of activities for people in different stages of life.
Church is open during the spring season 2026:
Rovaniemi Church is open until August 30th every day @10:00-20:00 (guide available). Pastor is available in Church Mon-Fri @11:00-14:00. You can also call the pastor: +358 40 685 4925. You may come to the church to be in silence, admire the art, and have a hot drink. Warmly Welcome!
On Sundays mass @10:00 and coffee after church service. On Wednesdays services start @18:00. Please feel free to walk around Church Pond via Shepherds Trail with map from church.
For security reasons, a maximum of 680 people can be admitted to the church. Thank You for Your understanding.
Good to Know: Rovaniemi Parish serves in the largest town area of European Union. Rovaniemi is also Arctic Capital of Lapland, located on the Arctic Circle. Our Parish has 45 000 members, and there is room and place for You too! You can find out more about us on these pages.
